Our Fabrication Journey
NWI Fabrication was officially launched in 2020, evolving from a small in-house operation that began in 2017.
Family-owned and operated, initially NWI Fab managed small projects out of our Sydney head office, supporting our sales and service departments across the country. During this period, we relied on external fabrication companies for most of our custom sales orders.
NWI Fabrication’s big breakthrough came when NWI secured a significant contract to supply and install two weighbridges. This milestone allowed us to fully establish NWI Fabrication and bring our manufacturing capabilities in-house for the first time.
Since then, we’ve successfully completed hundreds of projects, continuing to grow and refine our operations.
Today, NWI Fabrication is proud to employ a skilled team that includes boilermakers and a mechanical engineer, all dedicated to delivering high-quality fabrication solutions for our clients. Based out of Pendle Hill, NSW, this is how our modern fabrication workshop looks today.

Established in 1994, NWI Group has been dedicated to delivering high-quality services in the sale, calibration, and maintenance of measuring instruments for laboratories and manufacturing industries. We are constantly seeking to improve, which is a key aspect of our quality policy.
As a family-run company, we operate offices across Australia, offering a wide range of products from precision measurement tools to large industrial weighbridges, process instrumentation, and automation software.
